This ceramic presentation plate belongs to the Line-up collection by Annebet Philips for Serax. The collection quite literally translates the designer's sketches into clay, bringing her expressive hand-drawn design language to life. Hovering between the flat world of the sketch and the physical world of the table, the plate is defined by thick blue brushstrokes that reinterpret traditional Delft Blue in a bold, contemporary way. Like every piece in the collection, it contributes to a larger composition, whether on the table, on a shelf, or in the room.
